TRACY HUEBER
Tracy Hueber is the third generation in her family to live in the Village and it means a lot to her to help Newtown stay unique and be a great little walk-around town. Tracy is in the fourth year of her second elected term on council, where she was the chair and head of Parks and Recreation the entire time and was also on the Fire Committee for two years. Tracy has created the Memory Tree program that allows people to donate trees for loved ones for any occasion along with the type of tree as an educational tool for the viewers. Tracy works closely with youth sports, bringing them back into our parks for the betterment of the community. She also works closely with the Maintenance and Service Department and on Village beautification, creating all the new plantings and flower pots, hoping to create more around town in the future. The latest was the one at Little Dry Run, which was a fully donated project with the exception of the Village sign and labor.

Tracy would love to get a local garden club together to do personal plantings around town, similar to the one in Ault Park and have an Art Show in the upcoming years. She is always open for suggestions if anyone wishes to contact her.
