MOUNDVIEW PARK

Location: 3130 Newtown Road
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A serene, wooded park tucked comfortably off of Newtown Road. Atop of the hillside stands a wonderful turn of the century home.

This park offers:

  • baseball fields
  • playgrounds for children
  • two covered shelters (we only reserve the large pavilion)
  • restrooms
  • drinking fountains

Moundview Park is great for any special occasion or just a family picnic or playtime to get out and enjoy nature.

SHORT PARK

Location: 3712 Debolt Street
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Short Park is one of two large parks in the Village of Newtown. The park offers large open areas for family fun and business events. Please call Town Hall at 513.561.7697 to reserve the large paviliion. Click on the names to read the Park Fees and Facilities Usage Agreement

There are a variety of recreational areas offered at Short Park. Recreational areas include:

  • volleyball
  • basketball
  • baseball
  • soccer fields
  • walking/biking trail
  • two playgrounds

The Village reserves only the large pavilion.

BICENTENIAL PARK

Location: Church Street

Bicentennial Park is located across from Town Hall on Church Street. This small quaint park was developed in 1992 celebrating the 200 year existence of our Village.

It has a wonderful little gazebo surrounded with trees and blooming flowers. Bicentennial Park is also home to our landmark town clock and memorial to fallen firefighters.

Come browse the brick walk of the Bicentennial Park reading the names of community members that donated towards the enjoyable park.

MINI PARK
 

Location: Corner of Route 32 and Church Street

Mini Park is the small corner park at the corner of Route 32 and Church Street. It offers a few picnic tables for enjoying ice cream or just to watch the traffic. It is the home of our Christmas Nativity scene thanks to the Civic League of Newtown.
